How long does it take to set up a wedding card and gift?
It takes seconds...seriously, we've tested it!
How many messages can I get printed into a greetings card?
Our large A4 cards fit a surprisingly number of messages. 40+ in most cases.
Ecards hold an unlimited number of messages.
How far in advance should I set up the wedding card and collection?’
Given it’s a special occasion. We recommend setting up the Viing occasion for the wedding card and gift 4-6 weeks before the big day. This should give everyone plenty of time to contribute
If you’re choosing a physical card and gift, we recommend setting the deadline for at least 7-10 working days before the big event - just to make sure you’ve allowed some contingency for the card and gifts to arrive in the post.
Does Viing send out reminders?
Of course! We will only send out reminders only to those who have been invited via Viing but have yet to contribute.
The couple have said no gifts. Can we arrange a bank transfer instead of physical gifts?
Yes, Viing is completely flexible. Bank transfers are an option if that’s what the couple would prefer.
Can I share the occasion link via social media or whatsapp group?
Of course. You can either invite via Viing, where we can send our reminders for you. Or alternatively, if you don’t have invitee email address, you can simply share the URL link of the occasion separately via email, social media or Whatsapp.
Can I make financial contributions optional?
Of course. You can control this in the occasion settings by clicking ‘Settings’ ‘General’, Optional Contributions ‘Toggle ON’.
Will contributors see how much has been collected?
Individual amounts aren’t visible, but the total collection pot will be visible to everyone who has the unique URL link.
I think I’ve left it too late!!! Do I still have time?
We’ve all been there! But fear not, there are options still.
If you can ensure friends and family get their messages and contributions in quickly, you don’t need to wait for the post for your group card and gift and instead arrange a group ecard and eVoucher, which is pretty instant. Job done.
